Hey great mix, how do you make these mixes with album art embedded at the right time? Garageband? Thanks!
Thanks for the compliment and interest. I tried doing an episode in GarageBand once but didn’t like the results so I decided to stick with the way i’d been doing it. (i think garageband was making the images too small so they looked like crap when they were bigger)
I do the mix in Logic, but for the podcast stuff i use a program called ChapterToolMe. It’s basically a front-end for apple’s command-line “chapter tool” utility (which is apparently what GarageBand uses)
ChapterToolMe is simple, but also pretty quirky/buggy. Once you learn the quirks it does the job pretty well (the biggest quirk is that there can’t be any spaces in the name of the file you’re adding chapters to OR in the path to the application itself OR the filename/location you’re exporting the finished episode to. Trying to figure that out nearly drove me crazy).
